She was born March 16, 1958 at Macomb the daughter of Gordon and Rosanna (Johnson) Manion. She married Michael Ford on July 2, 1982 at Miami, OK. He survives with one sister, Patty (Doug) Schmidt of Cuba, one brother, William Manion of Alvin, TX; many nieces and nephews whom she helped raise in many ways, Martin (Kristy) Hanson, Austin, Alex, Olivia, Luke, Alicia (Tyler) Coulter, Tatim, Truman, Dale (Rachel) Hanson, Nick, Spencer, Zac, Jenni Strait, Avonlea (Coleton) Stryker, William J. Manion, Brenden, Katie, MacKenna, Delaney, Angie (Paul) Sneed, and Heather (Mark) Phillips, Lacie, and Alexis. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Tim Manion, and a sister in-law, Rexann Manion.
Debbie worked at several nursing homes, factories, and also tended bar. She loved life and later became a caretaker for many loved ones throughout Fulton County. Her most favorite times in life was when she traveled state to state in the semi with her Mike. She loved her flowers, gardens, and hummingbirds. The family would like to extend a special thank you to her hospice nurse, Schreen Ogden for her compassion, love, and knowledge during these difficult times.
A graveside services will be held at 2 pm Friday July 26, 2024 at Wiley Cemetery at rural Ellisville with Pastor Ellen Dodd officiating. There will be no visitation.
