Wilma L. Dierker

Wilma L. Dierker, 94, of Havana, passed away at Clayberg Nursing Center, in Cuba, Illinois, at 12:25 p.m., on Friday, July 19, 2024. She was born April 1, 1930, in Mason County, Illinois, to Louis and Freida (Sarff) Dierker.

Ms. Dierker is survived by one niece, Margaret (Mike) Martin, of Havana; one nephew: Mark (Mary) Westman, of Kingfisher, Oklahoma; several great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nieces, and great-great nephews. Also surviving is one sister, Elsie Westman, of Havana. She was preceded in death by her parents; two nephews: Michael Westman and Matthew Westman; and niece, Melinda Gilmore.
Ms. Dierker was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, in Havana. She was a receptionist for Dr. Landazuri, in Havana, for many years. She later worked for the State of Illinois in the HR Department until her retirement.
A memorial service will be at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, in Havana, on Wednesday, July 31, with Rev. Ian Heinze officiating, at 11:00 a.m., with visitation one hour prior to the services. Burial will follow the service at Laurel Hill Cemetery in Havana.
