Wilma L. Dierker, 94, of Havana, passed away at Clayberg Nursing Center, in Cuba, Illinois, at 12:25 p.m., on Friday, July 19, 2024. She was born April 1, 1930, in Mason County, Illinois, to Louis and Freida (Sarff) Dierker.Ms. Dierker is survived by one niece, Margaret (Mike) Martin, of Havana; one nephew: Mark (Mary) Westman, of Kingfisher, Oklahoma; several great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nieces, and great-great nephews. Also surviving is one sister, Elsie Westman, of Havana. She was preceded in death by her parents; two nephews: Michael Westman and Matthew Westman; and niece, Melinda Gilmore.
Ms. Dierker was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, in Havana. She was a receptionist for Dr. Landazuri, in Havana, for many years. She later worked for the State of Illinois in the HR Department until her retirement.
A memorial service will be at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, in Havana, on Wednesday, July 31, with Rev. Ian Heinze officiating, at 11:00 a.m., with visitation one hour prior to the services. Burial will follow the service at Laurel Hill Cemetery in Havana.
