She was born January 22, 1961, in Peoria, to Everett and Gloria (Barlow) Foster. She married Ron Cochran on June 16, 1979, in Peoria. He survives.
Candy is also survived by her mother; two sons, Zachary Cochran of Elmwood, and Aaron (Jerilyn) Cochran of Farmington; four brothers, Tim (Peggy) Foster, Kevin (Theresa) Foster, Scott Foster, and Brian Foster; six sisters, Marilee Fries, Jennifer Behm, Pat (the late Roger) Potter, Karrie (Brian) Conlee, Laurie (Kevin) Cochran, and Cheryl (Roger) Benedict; one grandchild, Hazel; and countless nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.
Candy is preceded in death by her father; and one brother, Randy Foster.
Candy loved spending most of her time with her granddaughter, Hazel. She was an in-home-caregiver for many years. She was an avid crafter and artist. She was also a national champion quilter.
A funeral service will be held at 6:30 p.m., on Thursday, July 25, 2024, at Berea Baptist Church in Bartonville, IL. A visitation will be held prior to the service from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., at the church. Cremation rites will then be accorded. A burial of ashes will be held at a later date. A Remembrance of her Life will also be held at a later date.
