He is survived by two children, Gabrielle (Justice) Willie-Doe of Joliet, and Abigail (Joven) Wood of Bartonville; and one sister, Janet (William) Mason.
He is preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, Alfred “Grant” Miles.
Phillip was a tile, terrazzo, and granite setter for many years. One of his projects included the memorial at the Peoria Riverfront. He enjoyed showing Gordon Setter dogs, driving cars, and watching the Bears.
Cremation rites have been accorded.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to National Alliance on Mental Illness Tri-County Chapter.
