Debora Kay Sheets

Debora Kay Sheets, 64 of Canton, passed away at 7:30 AM on Saturday, March, 23, 2024 at her residence. She was born on May 20, 1959 in Canton, a daughter of Jim and Betty (McCracken) Grove. She married Roger Sheets on January 2, 2009 in Lincoln, Illinois. He survives.

Also surviving are her three sons, Aaron, Jason, and Jacob Barton, a step-son Troy Sheets of Canton; two step-grandchildren, her brothers, Kevin Grove, Frank Romine, and Larry Grove, all of Canton; two sisters, Connie Whiteman of Marrietta, and Diane Beoletto of Fairview.

Preceding her in death were her parents, a step-daughter, Cindy Steagall, and sister, Connie Trobaugh.

Debora enjoyed life with her husband, and taking care of her family, she was an avid gardner, and animal lover, and at a young age attended South Park United Methodist Church in Canton.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, March 28, 2024 at Sedgwick Funeral Homes & Crematory in Canton, where a visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until the time of services. Rev. Kevin VanTine will officiate. Burial will take place in Foster Cemetery in rural Fairview, following the services. Memorials can be made to the Fulton County Humane Society.
