She was born October 5, 1947 at Avon, the daughter of Eldon and Faye (Gilmore) Wheeler. She married Greg Manuel on January 4, 1992 at Smithfield. He survives with one daughter, Sandy Jo (Dwight) Eddington of Cuba, one granddaughter, Nellie Jo (Dalton Terlizzi) Lehnhausen of Cuba, two great granddaughters, Delayla Jo Terlizzi and Dacey Jane Terlizzi, a brother-in-law, Don Proper of Canton, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Carol A. Kephart, a brother-in-law, Wayne Kephart, and a sister-in-law, Marcia Proper.
Sue was a waitress at the restaurants in Cuba in her younger years. She later worked as a custodian at the Cuba Grade School for 27 years. She loved to entertain her grandchildren whom she loved dearly. She loved to mow her yard and take care of her many flower gardens.
A graveside service will be held at 1 pm Saturday March 23, 2024 at Baughman Cemetery with Pastor Ellen Dodd officiating. There will be no visitation.
