Kristy L. Cluney

Kristy Lynn Cluney, 52, of Havana passed away at 12:19 p.m. on Monday, March 4, 2024 at OSF St.

Francis in Peoria. She was born on May 20, 1971 in Canton, Illinois to Thomas and Helen Cluney.
Kristy is survived by her children: Daniel Cluney, Austin Smith, Erika Smith, and Tori (Justin Lovel) Miller,
grandchildren: Daniel “DJ” Cluney, Jr., Brantley Smith, Jakoby Smith-Talton, Kashon Jackson, Za’ryiah
“Zma” Williams, Zy’Kari Johnson, Gavin Lovel, Grayden Lovel, and Gideon Lovel, long-term partner: Rob
Royer, and father: Thomas Cluney. Also surviving are her siblings: Beth Martin, Beverly Kincaid, Tommy
(Shinita) Cluney, Stacy (Scott) Ehrat, Jennie Pierson, Ella McCleary, Larry “ Junior” (Vickie) Cluney Jr.
Mary Cluney, and Paula Baughman and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her
mother and step-father: Helen and Melvin Rilea, grandparents: Wilbur and Icel Cluney, sister: Shelia
Cluney, brother-in-law: Thomas Martin, and aunt: Violet Peteris.
Kristy worked as a caregiver for many years. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and
spoiling her grandchildren.
Cremation rites have been accorded and no services are planned at this time.
