Bruce started working at International Harvester in 1972 and after their closing he returned to Spoon River College. Bruce worked at several different companies but his career found traction when he landed at Daxcon Engineering. He finished his career with Synergetic Industries as Vice-President of Aerospace and Defense sales for Boeing. He was passionate about his work and just recently announced his retirement.
Being in sales, Bruce spent a lot of time on the road, but that never kept him from coaching his kids and attending all their activities. Bruce was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He was a kind and patient man who had a smile for everyone.
Those of you who knew Bruce best can remember that when he got in an uncomfortable situation he would say…”How Bout Those Cardinals”….
Cremation rites have been accorded through Oaks-Hines Funeral Home in Canton. A Celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, April 27, 2024 from 2-5pm at the Back Room @ Billy's Tap.
Memorials may be made to the Spoon River College Foundation.
