Daniel K. Carmack, 63, of Fairview, passed at 1:20 PM on Wednesday, March 20, 2024 at his residence. He was born on March 20, 1961 in Canton, IL to Robert and Wanda (Bloomfield) Carmack.
He is preceded in death by his father; two brothers, Robert Kirk Carmack and Christopher Carmack; and one sister, Katherine Price.
He is survived by his mother; one son, Keith Carmack; sister-in-law, Mary Ellen Carmack; several nieces and nephews; and six great nieces.
Daniel managed Chubb’s Liquors in Canton for over 40 years. He graduated from Canton High School in 1979. He attended the University of Wisconsin River Falls. He enjoyed fishing, mushrooming and was an avid Chicago Cubs and Bears fan.
Per Daniel’s wishes, there will be no services. Cremation rites will be accorded with Sedgwick Funeral Homes & Crematory in Canton, IL. A private burial will be held at Greenwood Cemetery in Canton, IL at a later date. Memorials may be made by the donor’s choice.
