Surviving is one daughter, Beth Owens of Ohio; two grandsons, Thomas Owens (Stephanie), Peter Owens (Jen), and their three children, Henry, Elsie and Anna. She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Alan Eugene Holmes; one brother, Victor Rankin, and two sisters, Peggy Lueking, and Charlotte Jarvis.
Toni was a member of the Farmington Legion Auxiliary, the First Baptist Church in Canton, and the Farmington Women of the Moose, where she achieved the highest degree of Star Recorder in 1980. She served as Farmington Township Tax Assessor for decades. She really enjoyed helping people complete all the necessary forms. She followed in her mother’s footsteps as an Avon lady, and she often spoke about how much she loved visiting her customers in their homes.
When her children were young, she was the first mom to volunteer for everything from room mother to scout leader. Toni loved reading, and fostered that love in her kids, taking them to the library regularly. She also liked knitting and word search puzzles.
