Cheryl D. Stewart

Cheryl Danette (Stone) Stewart, 60, of Beardstown, Illinois passed away May 13, 2023 at St. John's Hospital, Springfield, IL. She was born on November 7, 1962 in Peoria, Illinois to Harold and Loretta Stone. She married (Harry) Todd Stewart on August 4, 1998, in Lewistown, Illinois. She was proceeded in death by her parents and one brother, Harold (Doug) Stone. She is survived by her husband, (Harry) Todd Stewart of Beardstown, IL and four sons: Joshua (Kathie) Perez of Washington, IL, Diego (Amanda) Perez of Mountain View, Missouri, Zachary (Mindi) Perez of Canton, IL, and Jordan (Sarah) Perez of St. George, UT as well as 4 grandchildren: Teisha Clark, Gavin Clark, Jocelyn Perez, and Luke Perez; 8 nieces and nephews: Ryan Cargill, Tara Defazio, Cory Cargill, Jennifer Ford, Jessica Scott, Rosalie Stone, Aubrey Varnes, and Keith Foust; 3 siblings: Darlene (Alan) Callahan of Pekin, IL, Randy Stone of Glasford, IL and Lori Foust of Glasford, IL; and two step children, Timothy Stewart, and Kimberly Stewart both of California. Visitation will be on Thursday, May 18, 2023 at Oaks-Hines Funeral Home in Canton from 4:30 p.m. until 5:30 p.m. A funeral service will be held at 5:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Cremation rites will be accorded following the services. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
