She married William “Will” Higgins on July 26, 2019 in Canton.
Surviving are her parents of Ipava, husband Will, one son Elijah John Rogers of Ipava, one sister, Jennifer (Romaine) Rogers-Boizumault of Brussels Belgium, one nephew, Bastien Boizumault, of Brussels, Belgium, grandmother, Rose Rogers of LaClaire, IA and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Jess graduated from Astoria High School in 2001. She loved being in her yard with her plants and figurines. She would decorate her yard for every holiday and made it quite festive. Her greatest passion and love were her cats, all eight of them.
Her pride and joy was her son, Elijah. She was so very proud of him and bragged to all of her friends. She had the pleasure of watching him graduate from, VIT High School this spring with honors.
Jessica survived Leukemia twice but side effects caused her epilepsy to lead to her death.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 1, 2023, at 2 pm, at Oaks-Hines Funeral Home in Canton with a visitation one hour prior at the funeral home.
Cremation rites have been accorded. Memorials may be made to St Jude Children’s Hospital or Fulton County Humane Society.
