Trivoli-Russell Hyten, 84, of Trivoli passed away on Saturday, April 8, 2017, at his residence.
He was born on November 26, 1932, in Asheville, MO, to Louis and Ethel Hyten. They preceded him in death.
He married Beulah “Jane” Burnett on May 11, 1958 in Peoria. She survives.
Also surviving are his children, Cathy (John) Legate of Canton, Cindy (Jimmy) Longcor of Galesburg, brother Jimmy Hyten, grandchildren Ashley Longcor, Shelly Hyten and Greatgrandchildren Abbygail and Allyson.
Also preceding him in death are 4 brothers and 2 sisters.
Russell served in the U.S. Navy. He worked for Caterpillar and retired after 32 years of service. He enjoyed the outdoors including cutting firewood, mowing grass and farming. He also enjoyed spending time at auctions.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 11, 2017, at 11 a.m., at the Oaks-Hines Funeral Home in Canton with a visitation one hour prior at the funeral home.
Burial will be at the Orendorff Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the Fulton County Humane Society.
