Banner – Darran E. Durrette, 31, of Banner, passed away Thursday, April 13, 2017 in Peoria, IL. He was born on January 12, 1986 in Canton to Darran A. Durrette and Donna J. (Mahr) Barker.
Surviving are his parents, four children, Gracie Durrette, Drake Durrette, Cameron Durrette, and Ruby Wade; one brother, Derek Durrette of Canton; two step sisters, April Durrette and Erin Carmack; step brother, Bobby Carmack; maternal grandma, Shirley Mahr; and several aunts and uncles.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandpa, Lyle Mahr and paternal grandparents, Harold and Patsy Durrette.
Darran worked as a roofer for D & D Home Improvements. He was a loving son, brother, and a great dad. Darran loved the Chicago Bears and the Chicago Cubs, and also loved to mushroom hunt. He will be sadly missed by all his family and friends.
Services will be held at 1 PM on Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at Sedgwick Funeral Homes & Crematory in Canton, where a visitation will be from 11-1 PM. Burial will follow the services at White Chapel Memory Gardens in Canton. Following the services a dinner will be held at The Goose Pit in Banner, IL.
