St David – Phyllis J. Ferro, 85, of St. David, passed away on Thursday, April 6, 2017, at the OSF Medical Center in Peoria.
She was born on December 26, 1931, in Canton, to John and Mary (Stell) Whitmore. They preceded her in death.
She married Dominic Ferro on June 7, 1952 in Canton. He preceded her in death in 2002.
Surviving are her twin daughters, Christi (Brad) Sipe of Canton, Carol Ferro of St. David and one grandchild Brett (Amanda) Sipe of Canton.
She was also preceded in death by two sisters Virginia Johnson and Dorothy Mercer.
Phyllis was a member of the 1st Christian Church in Canton.
Cremation rites have been accorded and there will be no services per her wishes.
Oaks-Hines Funeral Home in Canton is in charge of arrangements.
Memorials may be made to the Fulton County Humane Society.
