Maquon – Jim Frame, 70, of Maquon passed away at 6:50 am, Sunday, April 23, 2017 at his residence. He was born on January 30, 1947 in Canton to Frank and Eva E. (Vollmar) Frame. He married Lori S. Knox on August 26, 1999 in Lewistown. She survives along with four children; James M. Frame of Fairview, Jay C. Frame of Tennessee, Angie Gibson of Fairview, and Mark (Melanie) Hanlin of Fairview, four grandchildren; Weslee, Payton, Samantha, and Lonnie and his best friend Jim Endres “Tree”.
Jim worked at Gates Rubber Company for 31 years, retiring in 1999. He also ran J & L Tap in Maquon for 10 years until it closed in 2008. Jim was a member of the Canton VFW, Fairview American Legion, and Farmington Moose Lodge. He was an Army veteran serving in Vietnam War as a Combat Medic.
Services will be 11 am Saturday, April 29, 2017 at Oaks-Hines Funeral Home in Canton. Kenny Knox will officiate. Visitation will be from 9 – 11 am Saturday at the Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery. Cremation rites have been accorded. Memorials can be made to either the Fairview Legion or St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
