Canton – Donald L. Gorsuch, 72, of Canton, passed away Monday, April 17, 2017 at his residence. He was born on May 4, 1944 in Summum, IL to Leonard and Frieda (Shawgo) Gorsuch. He married Kathy Sebree on June 4 1966, she survives.
Surviving is his wife Kathy Sebree; four children; Curtis (Chris) Gorsuch of Canton, Brian (Amy) Gorsuch of Cuba, Kim (Paul) Moffitt of Canton, Daniel (Leslie) of Canton; One brother, John (Judy) Gorsuch of Summum; two sisters; Shirley (Richard) Keeler of Lewistown, Judy (Phil) Webb of Lewistown; ten grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; Leonard and Frieda (Shawgo) Gorsuch.
Donald worked for Caterpillar for 12 years and owned and operated Gorsuch Appliance in Canton. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge #734, American Legion Post 16, VFW Post 1984, and Elks. He was a Vietnam veteran of the United States Army.
Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, April 20th, 2017 at Sedgwick Funeral Homes & Crematory in Canton, where a visitation will be from 4:00 – 8:00 PM on Wednesday, April 19, 2017. Rev. Greg Ogle will officiate. Burial will follow services at Brunswick Cemetery. Memorials can be made to a Scholarship Fund at Astoria High School.
