She was born on May 20, 1929 in Canton to Russell and Rose (Bernovich) Flowers. They preceded her in death.
She married Morris Moore on March 30, 1948 in Yorkville, IL. He preceded her in death on October 10, 1991.
Surviving are two sons, Stan (Vivian) Moore of Huntersville, N.C., Gregory Moore of Norfolk, VA, five grandchildren, Stacy Moore, Aubrey (Carey) Brooks, Stefanie Moore, Shannon (Eric) Meier, Carson Moore and two great grandchildren, Khristie and Tovah Brooks. Her granddaughter Aubrey, and Crystal Terry became her closest companions.
She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Canton. She worked at Sears and later worked for 25 years for the Fulton County Health Department retiring in 1991. She was a member of the Canton Women’s Club, Volunteer for the Gift Shop at Graham Hospital, an avid dancer and was in a bridge club with friends.
A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, April 17, 2017, at 11 am, at the St. Mary’s Catholic Church Parish Hall with a visitation one hour prior. Cremation rites have been accorded and the burial of ashes will be held at the Greenwood Cemetery following the Mass.
Oaks-Hines Funeral Home in Canton is in charge of arrangements.
