Judith was born December 1, 1943 in Savannah, Georgia to Charles and Vera (Wilson) Martin of Smithfield.
Judi was a graduate of Cuba High School and went on to earn her Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Western Illinois University. She was a member of Brock united Methodist Church in Smithfield.
Judi taught 2nd, 4th and 3rd grades at Central Elementary School and Westview Elementary School in Canton, retiring in 1994 after 24 years of teaching.
Throughout her teenage years, Judi studied piano. She loved spending time playing the piano, rearranging songs, crocheting, trying new recipes, playing with her cats and talking about her grandsons. Judi had a green thumb and enjoyed seeing her plants thrive.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Vera Martin, a son, Christopher, and her husband Glenn Blakley.
Judi is survived by her daughter, Jennifer (Dante) Mably of Burbank, CA; grandsons, Timothy Mably of Austin, TX; Joshua Mably of West Mifflin, PA; brothers, Michael Martin of Canton, Charles William Martin (Oksana) of Alabama, niece Anya Martin of Canton and Brandon Martin of Farmington.
Her funeral service will be held at 10 am Wednesday November 27, 2024 at Henry-Lange Memorial Home in Cuba where visitation will be held one hour prior to services. Burial will be in Baughman Cemetery, Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital or the Fulton County Humane Society.
