Debbie was a member of St. Barnabas Episcopal Church. Debbie was a loving mother, wife and grandmother. During her lifetime, she was a dental assistant and optometric assistant. For the last fifteen years, she worked at Mason District Hospital, and she loved the patients, visitors and the people she worked with. She always made you feel loved, whether you were a relative, friend, or someone she just met. She had the ability to make you feel better even in your darkest moments. Debbie had an unwavering faith in God and was very active in her church. The love and prayers of family, friends, and many supporters carried her through her painful battle with breast cancer. She loved music, reading, canoeing, hiking and playing games with her family. Her greatest joy in life was just spending time with her family. Her granddaughters brought even more joy to her life, and they now call Gaga their guardian angel.
