Cecelia “Cissy” Miller

Cecelia “Cissy” Miller, 67, of Canton, passed away Tuesday, November 19, 2024, at her home in Canton. She was born in Canton on May 9, 1957, to Lawrence and Elizabeth (Juricich) Urbanc. They preceded her in death. She is survived by two children, Jessica Reith and Nicholas Miller, two grandchildren, Elliot Reith and Jolene Reith, nine siblings, Pamela (John) Gross, David (Ronnie Farney) Urbanc, Teresa Nayden, Virginia (Ray) Snyder, Steven (the late Janine) Urbanc, Mark Urbanc, Patrick Urbanc, Maria (Troy) Sage, and Tony (Laura) Urbanc, and several nieces and nephews. Cissy retired from OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria in 2021. She graduated from Canton High School with the class of 1975. She is a lifetime member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Canton. Cissy enjoyed family gatherings, taking care of her children, and guiding her grandchildren however she could. Memorials may be made to St. Mary’s Catholic Church.
