Donna Pauline Eilman, 86, of Havana, passed away on Sunday, November 17, 2024 at 1:10 p.m. at Havana Healthcare Center. She was born on November 25, 1937 in Schuyler County, Illinois to Dale and Sarah Lucille (Dorethy) Pierce. She married David L. Eilman on April 7, 1959 and he preceded her in death on April 8, 2013.Donna is survived by her daughter, Lisa Thompson of Havana; grandchildren, Ashley (Jacob Pratt) Eady and Shania (Timothy Robison) Berkley; great-grandchildren, Saphira Eady, Denahi Benton, Christian Pratt, Waylen Pratt, Elias Berkley, and Athena Robison; and brothers, Ron (Sharon) Pierce of Lincoln and Darrell (Debbie) Pierce of Bluff City. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sister, Darlene (Dallas) Harris; and brother, Walter Pierce.
Donna worked as a cook at Waterworth’s and Dietary Manager at Havana Healthcare Center for many years. She enjoyed puzzles, boating, playing bingo, baking, and bowling. She liked going out to listen to live country music and searching for the best fish, tenderloins, and frog legs. Donna loved spending time with her family, especially her great-grandkids. Christmas was her favorite holiday.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, November 24, 2024 from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at Hurley Funeral Home in Havana.
