Pamela E. Putney

Pamela E. Putney, 64, of Elmwood, passed away at 5:12 a.m., on Thursday, October 5, 2023, at Richard L. Owens Hospice Home in Peoria, IL. She was born March 5, 1959, to Lloyd “Jake” and Eunice (Larson) Williams in Chippewa Falls, WI. She married Dennis Putney on February 18, 1978, in Peoria. He preceded her in death on February 5, 2021.

Pamela is survived by two children, Robin (Ronald) Thrasher of Elmwood and Tom (Jessica) Putney of Elmwood; two brothers, Jeffrey (Anna Marie) Williams and Patrick (Janet) Williams; one sister, Kathleen (Allen) Boldt; ten grandchildren, Michael (Ragan) Thrasher, Addison Thrasher, Hallie Thrasher, Gena Thrasher, Kaleb Thrasher, Lillian Thrasher, Autumn Thrasher, Brielle Putney, Isla Putney, and Thomas Jr. Putney; and three great-grandchildren, Roderick Thrasher, Aurora Thrasher, and Merion Thrasher.

Pamela worked at County Line Vet for 20 years. She was of the Lutheran faith. She also enjoyed gardening and tending to her plants. Most importantly, her heart belonged to her family and making sure her children and grandchildren were all loved.

Cremation rites have been accorded. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Elmwood Fire Department.
