John Foose

Farmington- John Foose, 68, of Farmington, passed away at 7:57 AM on Tuesday, October 17, 2023 at Marigold Rehab & Healthcare Center in Galesburg. He was born on May 9, 1955 in Canton, a son of Ralph and Elizabeth “Betty” (Rose) Foose. They preceded him in death.

Surviving is one son, Brice (Elizabeth) Foose of Lake Saint Louis, Missouri; two grandsons, Noah and Hayden Foose, and two brothers, Ralph Foose Jr, and Greg Foose, both of Farmington.

He graduated Farmington High School, and started working for International Harvester in Canton, until it closed, then he went on to work as a Farmer on the family farm. He enjoyed raising and racing horses. John was of the Catholic faith.

A visitation will be held from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM on Saturday, November 4, 2023 at the Anderson-Sedgwick Funeral Home in Farmington. Graveside services and burial will be at 12:00 PM (Noon) at Oakridge Cemetery in Farmington, also on Saturday, November 4, 2023. Memorials can be made to the St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
