She was born on June 17, 1947 in New Berlin, IL to Harry and Gladys (Dearing) Edwards. They preceded her in death.
She married Bob Runyan on November 1, 1980. He also preceded her in death on June 24, 2020.
Surviving are their children, Rachelle Sadat of Larkspur, CA, Tina Kaufman of Cooksville, IL, Tamara Peter of Orlando, FL, brothers, Don (Sundra) Edwards, Larry (Carolyn) Edwards, five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Her brother, Bill Edwards also preceded her in death.
Carolyn enjoyed reading and baking. She spent many of her days working outside around the yard and in her garden.
Cremation rites have been accorded. Per her wishes there will be no services.
Her ashes will be buried together with Bob’s in the Ashland Cemetery.
Oaks-Hines Funeral Home and Crematory in Canton is in charge of arrangements.
Memorials may be made to the Fulton County Humane Society.
