Willis (Si) Mason, 86, of Lewistown, IL, passed away peacefully at home on June 25, 2023. Willis was born on February 4, 1937, to Willis & Helen Mason. After graduating from Lewistown High School, he spent four years in the Air Force before returning to live on his family farm. He worked at Navistar/International Harvester for 40 years, retiring in 2004. He married Judith Ann Cluney of Summum, Illinois, in 1963. Willis & Judy would have celebrated 60 years of marriage in September of this year.
Willis is survived by his wife, Judy; two daughters, Helen Mason & Linda Mason, both of Canton, IL; two grandchildren, Sam Mason of Champaign, IL, and Claire Mason of Ann Arbor, Michigan; and his twin sister, Dixie Henderson, of Virginia. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sisters, Betty Brooks and JoAnn Putman.
Willis enjoyed farming, beekeeping, going to auctions & backyard sales, watching cowboy movies, playing with his dogs, and visiting with his friends. He was an outgoing, happy person who enjoyed his life fully.
