She was born June 17, 1936 at Canton the daughter of Richard and Edna (Wilk) Hitchcock Sr. She married Paul Ford October 1, 1956 at Shelbyville. He died January 30, 2007. She was also preceded in death by her parents, one daughter, Paula Ford, one grandson, Jeremy Paul Ford, two brothers, and five sisters. Surviving are one son, John Ford of Cuba, one sister, Linda Mortenson of Kentucky, four grandchildren, Holly (Robert) Smith of Cuba, Zack (Megan) Ford of Cuba, Samantha (Brad Fouts) Ford of Table Grove, and Jonica (Justin Slater) Ford, of Cuba, six great grandchildren, Paula Gossage, Keiton Ford, Jaxon Ford, Gracelynn Ford, Hannah Fouts, Madilyn Fouts, and one on the way, and three great-great grandchildren, Safyre Bowman, Pheonix Gossage, and Arabella Fisher.
Wanda was a cashier at Walmart for nearly 30 years. She enjoyed crafting, sewing, making quilts, and her fishpond.
Cremation will be accorded. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday June 20th at the Cuba Cemetery with Pastor Brant Reed officiating. Henry-Lange Memorial Home in Cuba is assisting the family with arrangements. Online condolences may be made at henrylange.com.
