She was born July 20, 1938 at Lewistown the daughter of Clinton H. and Nellie Mae (West) Waller. She married Robert L. Simpson on December 20, 1956 at Rushville. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two brothers, one sister, and one son. Surviving are two sons, Gregory S. Simpson of Jacksonville, and Andrew Knoele of Hindsboro, and several nieces and nephews.
Sandra retired from the former Clarytona Manor Nursing Home in Lewistown in August 2001 after 32 years. She was a member of the Illinois Street Christian Church and the Lewistown Community High School Alumni Association. Sandra was a Chicago Cubs fan, she enjoyed country music, walking and nature, and she enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday June 9th at the Henry-Lange Memorial Home in Lewistown with Pastor Brant Reed officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lewistown.
