Lewistown- Anna Lea Deushane, 85, of rural Lewistown passed away June 7, 2022 at her home.
She was born July 29, 1936 at rural Cuba the daughter of Vivan and Mary (Barber) Haacke. She married James Deushane on October 22, 1955 at Palmyra, MO. He died February 19, 2016. She was also preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, and three sisters. Surviving are six children, Debra (Don) Ward of Crocker, MO; Becky (Terry) Pigg of Lewistown, James E. Deushane of Lewistown, Terry Deushane of Cedartown, GA; Floyd Ray (Christine) Deushane of Lewistown, and Lloyd J. (Lisa) Deushane also of Lewistown, twelve grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
Anna Lea graduated from Cuba High School in 1952. She was a homemaker. Anna Lea was a member of the Waterford Union Church. She loved cooking, especially making cinnamon rolls, chicken & noodles, and her haacke-do’s. She also enjoyed family gatherings.
Her funeral will be held at 11:00 AM Monday June 13th at the Henry-Lange Memorial Home in Lewistown with Reverend Paul Walmsley officiating. Burial will be in Waterford Cemetery at rural Lewistown. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at the memorial home. Memorial contributions may be made to Waterford Union Church.
