Arthur Reinholtz

Canton-Arthur Reinholtz, 86, passed away on Monday, May 30, 2022 at Graham Hospital in Canton.

He was Born on August 8, 1935 in Metamora to Elmer and Tena (Behrends) Reinholtz and grew up on the family farm.
He married Phyllis Shumaker on May 19, 1957 in Canton. She survives.
Also surviving are his God children, Sandra (Thomas) Szpyrka of Springfield, Debra (Rodney) Finch of Carbondale, brothers, Eugene Reinholtz of Trivoli, Edward Reinholtz of Glasford and several special nieces and nephews.
Art retired from Keystone Steel and Wire in Bartonville and was a member of Shields Chapel United Methodist Church. He served in the Air National Guard and the U.S. Air Force. He was a private pilot and enjoyed flying his family and friends throughout the country. He was also active in the Gear Jammers and rode motorcycles and snowmobiles.
A funeral service will be held Thursday, June 2, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Oaks-Hines Funeral Home in Canton. The Rev Andy Hoskins will officiate. Visitation will be held one-hour prior to the funeral at the funeral home. Immediately following the services, military honors will be rendered at White Chapel Memory Gardens in Canton.
