Eulala Hoke

Eulala Hoke, 95, of Canton, passed away at 1:51 pm, Sunday, May 29, 2022 in Canton. She was born on March 15, 1927 in Mackinaw to Tim and Golda (Loudermilk) Norris. Eulala married Gilbert Hoke on February 11, 1950 in Canton. He preceded her in death on February 27, 1996. Also preceding her in death were parents, son George Hoke and brother Tom Norris.

Surviving is her daughter Judy (Marty) White of Canton, four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, daughter-in-law Carol Hoke of Pekin and sister-in-law Peggy Norris of Bushnell.
Eulala graduated from Brown's Business School in 1946. She worked at the Fulton County Health Department for 38 years, retiring on November 30, 1983 as the Fiscal Secretary. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Canton, member of the Fellowship and Shalom circles at the church and a member of the Health Department retiree.
Services will be 2 pm, Thursday, June 2, 2022 at the Oaks-Hines Funeral Home and Crematory in Canton, where visitation will be one hour prior to services.
