Ellisville - Bruce Barnes, 53, passed away on Thursday, June 23, 2022 at OSF St Francis Hospital in Peoria.
He was born on June 16, 1969 in Canton to Alfred "Butch" and Paula (Harper) Barnes. They preceded him in death along with one brother Paul Allen Barnes.He married Amy Hedges on July 3, 1999 in Canton. She survives along with two children; Jordan (Haley Miller) Barnes of Abingdon and Lexi (Eric Strand Jr.) Barnes of Macomb, brother Dave (Kelly) Frambes of Fairbury, sister Jill (Tony) Hahn of East Peoria, his other mother Marian Barnes, and two grandpups; Mia and Dexter.
Bruce worked on the assembly line at Pella Window in Macomb. He was an Air Force veteran and a member of the Fairview American Legion. Bruce loved watching the Cubs and HGTV.
Services will be 10 am Tuesday, June 28, 2022 at Oaks-Hines Funeral Home and Crematory in Canton, where visitation will be Monday 5-7 pm. Burial will follow in Walnut Cemetery in Banner.
