Farmington-Cornelius "Dean" Vance, 79, passed away on Tuesday, June 7, 2022, in Canton.
He was born on November 17, 1942, in Peoria, IL, to Cornelius and Mary (Hedrick) Vance.
Surviving are his children, Sherry (Gary) Evans, Doug Vance, and Chelsey (Jacob) Minder; one brother, Dennis (Pam) Vance; one sister, Claudia Galbreath; and three grandchildren, Ellaina, Colton, Clayton and one-on-the-way.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Tammy Sue Vance; and one sister, Mary Anne Meehan.
Dean was a retired Teamster from Local #627. He served in the U.S Air Force and was a member of the Masonic Lodge and the Farmington Moose.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, June 11, 2022, at Oaks-Hines Funeral Home in Elmwood from 10:00 a.m. until noon. There will be no funeral service. A meal will be served immediately following at the Farmington Moose. Cremation rites will follow the visitation.
