Raymon "Ray" Reed Jr.

Canton- Raymon “Ray” Reed Jr, 71, of Canton, passed away Friday, January 18, 2019 at his home in Canton.
He was born on April 1, 1947, in Middlebourne, West Virginia, to Raymon Sr. and Opal (Gunnels) Reed. They preceded him in death.
He is survived by his wife Connie (Jones) Reed, they married on January 4, 1969 at the First Baptist Church in Canton.
Also surviving are two children, Jennifer (Corey) Miller, of Canton and Brant (Melinda) Reed, of Lewistown, five grandchildren, Luke, Jake, and Marlee Miller, Elizabeth, and Aidan Reed, and one sister, Melissa (Bob) Bunting.
Ray was a Veteran of the United States Army, he worked for Caterpillar as a welder for 30 years retiring in 2005. He was a member of the First Christian Church in Canton, he enjoyed catfishing, and cooking, but most of all he loved spending time with his friends and family.
A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, January 23, 2019 at 6:00 p.m. at Oaks-Hines Funeral Home and Crematory in Canton, where visitation will be held one hour prior to the services.
Memorials may be made out to the First Christian Church of Canton, or to Unity Point Hospice.
