Farmington- Doneita Mae Werry, 86, of Farmington, passed away Monday, January 21, 2019 at Unity Point Methodist Hospital in Peoria.
She was born on August 8, 1932 in Canton, to Arista and Gladys (Ethell) Johnson.
Doneita married Glenn A. Werry Sr. on June 19, 1954, in Canton, he preceded her in death on December 28, 2016.
She is survived by three children, Glenn Werry Jr, of Farmington, Tamra (Harry) Fulton, of Farmington, and Debra Weber, of Southlake Texas, five grandchildren, Michael (Natalee) Fulton, Glenn T. (Mackenzie) Werry, Sarah (David) Presley, Nicholas Fulton, and Rachel Weber, two great-grandchildren. Duncan Michael Fulton, and Piper Ann Fulton, three step grandchildren, Faye Wuesthofen, Jessica Wuesthofen and Tony Wuesthofen, and two brothers, Gary (Leigh Ann) Johnson, and Richard (Cindy) Johnson.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and two brothers, Gerald Johnson, and Ronald Johnson.
Doneita was a member of the Farmington UnitedMethodist Church, she enjoyed gardening, embroidering, jigsaw puzzles, and loved her dog Debbie Doo.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 25, 2019, at 11:00 a.m. at Oaks-Hines Funeral Home and Crematory in Canton, where visitation will be held on Thursday, January 24, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
Memorials may be made out to the Farmington Rescue Squad, or to the Farmington Central Academic Foundation.
A private family burial will be held at Concord Cemetery located on their family farm.
