Clarence A. “Butch” Jenkins

Canton-Clarence A. “Butch” Jenkins, 76, of Canton, passed away on Friday, January 4, 2018 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
He was born on March 31, 1942, in Breeds, to Blee and Mildred (Murphy) Jenkins. They preceded him in death.
He married Barb (Clingan) on February 24, 1968 in Canton, she survives
Surviving are two children, Legina A. (Rich) Mendenhall, of Morton, and Butch A (Fiancée Christie M. Adams) Jenkins, of Canton, one sister Pat (Dave) Nichols, of Canton, one granddaughter, Katelyn Mendenhall, and one great granddaughter, Rylann H. Harrison.
Proceeding him in death is one brother, Roy Lee Jenkins, and one grandson Jesse Robert Peak.
Clarence was a Veteran of the United States Army, serving in the Vietnam War. He was a retired truck driver.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Fulton County Humane Society.
Cremation rites have been accorded, Oaks-Hines Funeral Home and Crematory in Canton is entrusted with arrangements.
