Canton - Marlene F. Appleget, 83, passed away on Monday, January 21, 2019 at Sunset Manor in Canton.
She was born on May 24, 1935 in Peoria to Charles and Sophie (Stoickow) Howard. They preceded her in death.
She married Darrell Appleget on September 12, 1980 in Illinois. He preceded her in death.
Surviving are three children, Sandi (Darrell) Corbin of Knoxville, Mike (Tammy) Giddens of Canton, Otis Metcalf of Canton, eleven grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
Also preceding her in death is one brother Gary Howard, one grandchild, Kelly Giddens and one great grandchild, Sophia Riley.
Marlene was a loving mother and grandmother.
Cremation rites have been accorded. There will be no services.
Oaks-Hines Funeral Home and Crematory has been entrusted with arrangements.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
