Gary Dean Jett, 78, of Canton, passed away at 7:30 AM on Saturday, January 12, 2019 at Red Oak Estates in Canton. He was born on May 27, 1940 in Rushville, IL; a son of Dean and Ardis (Ward) Jett. He married Norma Jenkins on May 29, 1958 in Canton. She survives.
Also surviving are his children, Rick (Debbie) Jett of Norris; Kim (Larry) Murphy of Canton; Terry (Guy) Reith of Hadley, Michigan; Dean “DJ” (Heather) Jett of Mayville, Wisconsin; eight grandchildren, and eleven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and one sister.
Gary was owner/operator of Jett’s Kawasaki Sales & Service in Canton for over 40 years, he enjoyed riding motorcycles and motorcycle racing, he was an avid fisherman and trap shooter.
