Lewistown- Andrew R. Lindeen, 70, of Lewistown, passed away at 7:28 AM Monday January 21, 2019 at OSF St Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
He was born August 3, 1948 at Canton, the son of Andrew J. “Jack” and Urith E. (Cutforth) Lindeen. He married Joan Wingo. Survivors include two children, Andrea (Jerry) Ford of Lewistown, and Andrew J. “AJ” Lindeen of Jacksonville, FL; two grandchildren, Danielle and Emma, and one sister, Toni Connelly of Ottawa, IL. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Andy was a Vietnam veteran. He served 26 years in the Navy before retiring in 1994. He was a member of Canton VFW Post 1984, Cuba American Legion Post 533, Alligators Club, Masonic Lodge, and Shriners. He was a graduate of Lewistown High School Class of 1967.
Cremation will be accorded and a celebration of life will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to Canton VFW Post 1984 or Cuba American Legion Post 533. Condolences may be made at henrylange.com
