William D. Voice
Farmington – William D. Voice, 79, of Farmington, passed away at 3:47 AM on Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center. He was born on September 26, 1937 in Washington, IL to William H. and Janette (Morris) Voice Jr. He married Bonnie Morse on July 20, 1963 in Washington, IL, she survives.
Also surviving are three sons, Scott (Gina) Voice of Farmington, Jeffrey Voice of Fairview, and Ryan Voice of Canton; six grandchildren, Nichol, Stephanie, Jazmin, Terin, Rylynn, and Jordan; three great-grandchildren, Paisley, Cooper, and Beau; and one sister, Judith (Willis) Meeks of Washington.
William worked as a service parts writer at Caterpillar’s Peoria downtown headquarters for 38 and a half years. He was of the Methodist Faith. William was a member of Boy Scouts of America and a past member of Farmington Moose.
Services will be at 7 PM on Friday, March 24, 2017 at Anderson-Sedgwick Funeral Home in Farmington, IL, where a visitation will be held from 5-7 PM. Cremations rites will be accorded following the services. Memorials can be made to Farmington Rescue Squad 1100, American Red Cross, or Ingersoll Scout Reservation.
