Canton – Motoko Brown, 80, of Canton passed away at 12:03 pm, Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at Unity Point Health Methodist in Peoria. She was born on January 1, 1937 in Tokyo, Japan to Wakichiro and Sui (Murata) Ishikura. Motoko married Ronald George Brown in Tokyo, Japan on September 25, 1963. He preceded her in death on July 23, 1966. Also preceding her in death were her parents, and brother Kazuo Ishikura. Surviving are two daughters; Mari J. Brown and Michelle (Brian Long) Brown-Long both of Canton.
She belonged to the Soka Gakkai International.
