Farmington – Josephine Gray, 100, of Farmington, passed away at 11:40 PM on Monday, March 20, 2017 at Graham Hospital. She was born on March 24, 2016 in Farmington, IL to Simone and Anna (Carpenter) Maccanelli. She married Harold Gray on October 26, 1944 in Decatur, IL, he preceded her in death.
Also preceding her in death were her parents, two brothers, and three sisters.
Surviving are several nieces and nephews.
Josephine was a member of First Baptist Church in Farmington, a past member of Women of the Moose, Red Hat Society, IL Art League, Sweet Adlines, and Farmington Senior Center.
Graveside services will be held at 2 PM on Friday, March 31, 2017 at Oakridge Cemetery in Farmington, IL. Rev. John Dainty will officiate. Burial will be held at Oakridge Cemetery in Farmington, IL.
