Caroline L. Fleisher

 Canton – Caroline L. Fleisher, 86, of Canton, passed away at 11:00 PM on Saturday, October 15, 2016 at her residence. She was born on November 15, 1929 in Canton to Elihu and Anna (Bath) Massingale. She married Sgt. Walter Fleisher on June 11, 1947 in Ipava. He preceded her in death.

Also preceding her in death are her parents, and one brother.

Surviving is one son, Stanley (Pamela) Fleisher of Canton; two grandchildren, Wendy (Matthew) Powell of Canton and Jason (April) Fleisher of Canton; and two great-grandchildren, Megan Powell and Carter Fleisher.

Caroline worked for Illinois Bell Telephone Company, International Harvester, and owned Ariel Race Track in the 70’s and 80’s. She breed, raised, entered contests with her horses, and loved them very much.

Graveside services will be at 2:30 PM on Thursday, October 20, 2016 at Fiatt Cemetery in Fiatt, IL. Rev. Kevin VanTine will officiate. A visitation will be held from 1:00-2:00 PM on Thursday, October 20, 2016 at Sedgwick Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1995 N. Main St., Canton, IL.
