He was born on February 20, 1939 in Canton to Herman and Bertha (Harris) Weaver.
He married Sandra Parks on April 19, 1964 in Brimfield. She survives.
Also surviving are his children, Bret (Sheryl) Weaver of Canton, Heath (Sharon) Weaver of Brook Park, MN, Stacy Pullis of Andover, MN, one brother, Eddie Weaver of Maples Mill, one sister, Willadean Kingery of Las Vegas, NV, four grandchildren, Samantha, Keyan, Caleb and Maddi and several nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by seven brothers and four sisters.
Virgil served in the U.S. Navy. He later worked for International Harvester Company/Navistar retiring in 1998. He was a life-long St Louis Cardinals fan. He enjoyed gardening, mushrooming and spending time with family.
Cremation rites have been accorded and a graveside service will be held on Thursday, December 21, 2023 at 2pm, at the Foster Cemetery in rural Fairview.
