She was born on August 3, 1951 in Canton to William “Bill” and Patricia “Pat” (Horvath) Yocum.
Surviving is her mother Pat of Canton, two sons, Jeremy (Annie) Pollitt of Wellington, CO, Josh (Susan) Pollitt of Berthoud, CO, brother, Tom (Cindy) Yocum of Canton, grandchildren, Trevor (Katelyn) Pollitt, Tanner Pollitt, Tess Pollitt, Blayden Pollitt, great grandchild, Clive and two nieces, Trina (Josh) Jochums and Casie (Scott) Phegley.
She was preceded in death by her father, Bill.
Teresa worked as a bookkeeper for banks in Illinois and Colorado. For the last several years she worked in her son’s business in Colorado. She enjoyed the Colorado Sports teams including the Rockies, Nuggets and Broncos. Her favorite pastime though was watching her grandkids sports teams. After returning to Canton she enjoyed spending time with her childhood friends.
Cremation rites have been accorded with Oaks-Hines Funeral Home and Crematory in Canton. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
Memorials may be made to St Jude Children’s Hospital.
