She was born on March 11, 1928, in Havana, to George and Edith (Hagie) Watson. They preceded her in death.
Pat married Leroy Burgett. He preceded her in death in 1992.
She is survived by her daughter Gloria Shaffer of Canton, one sister Carolyn Rector, two grandchildren, Jon (Melinda) Shaffer, and Tonya Snyder, one grandson in law Chris Snyder, four great grandchildren, Bryanna, Jordan, Tyler, and Lia, and four great great grandchildren, Bronson, Eleanor, Addalyn, and Isabella.
Also preceding her in death is her son Neil Burgett, two brothers, Danny and Deanie, and five sisters, Edith, June, Vivian, Barbara Jean, and Wanda.
Pat was a member of Summum Christian Church. She was a gifted painter, she painted every day since the 1970’s, and enjoyed selling her art on the Spoon River Scenic Drive. She also enjoyed reading and visiting with friends and family.
Memorials may be made to the Summum Christian Church, or to Clayberg Residents Activity Fund.
A funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m., on Monday December 11, 2023 at Oaks-Hines Funeral Home in Canton where visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Burial at Waterford Cemetery will immediately follow the services.
