Lewistown- Will H. Fox, 82, of Lewistown passed away at 7:37 AM Sunday November 21, 2021 at Mason District Hospital in Havana.
He was born July 25, 1939 in Carlinville, IL; the son of James and Annabelle (Fishback) Fox. Will had been formerly married to Sharon Mann and Patrice Strantz. Surviving are one daughter, Rachel A. Fox of Lewistown, one granddaughter, Alexis L. Ramey of Lewistown, and Eric (Renee) Leezer of Lewistown whom Will considered a son. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, and five sisters.
Will worked as a horse farrier for several years. He then worked at Ameren- Cilco from 1978 until he retired in 1999. He served in the US Army from 1957-1960. Will attended the former Lewistown Assembly of God Church and the Waterford Union Church. He was also a member of the American Racing Pigeon Union for over 30 years. He was a believer and follower of Jesus Christ and a true brother to all, always willing to lend a hand and word of comfort to everyone.
Funeral services will be held at 12 noon Friday at the Henry-Lange Memorial Home in Lewistown with Pastor Becky Black officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery at Lewistown.
