Randy Lybarger

Canton – Randy Lybarger, 65, of Canton, passed away at 7:53 AM on Friday, November 12, 2021 at Graham Hospital in Canton, IL. He was born on January 7, 1956 in Canton, IL to Ellsworth “Jack” and Dorothy (Eldridge) Lybarger. He married his best friend, Brenda Olden on March 28, 1975 in Kewanee, IL. She survives.

Also surviving are two children, Melissa (Justin Meacham) Dean of Canton and Matt (Angel) Lybarger of Pekin; three grandchildren, Avery Dean, Jenna Dean, and Jamie Ryerson; two brothers, Bill (Kathy) Lybarger and Jack (Marilou) Lybarger; and one sister, Carol (Larry) Parker.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Randy worked as a machinist for many years. He was a member of the First Christian Church in Canton. He loved spending time with his family, grandkids, and fishing. Randy was also an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan.

A visitation will be held from 3:00 PM – 4:00 PM on Saturday, December 4, 2021 at Sedgwick Funeral Homes & Crematory in Canton, IL. A memorial service will be held following visitation at 4:00 PM. Danny Lybarger will officiate. Cremation rites will be accorded before services with Sedgwick Funeral Homes & Crematory.
