Lillan M. Franzoni

Canton - Lillian M. Franzoni, 96, of Canton, passed away, Tuesday, November 2, 2021, at Farmington Country Manor in Farmington.

She was born on May 3, 1925, to James W. Ramsey and Elizabeth (Napier). They preceded her in death.
She married Bartolo "Jig" Franzoni on October 4, 1946. He preceded her in death along with one granddaughter Lacey Franzoni
Surviving are four children, Jim (Irene) Franzoni of Australia, Fred (Debbie) Franzoni of Fairview, Tim (Patty) of Minnesota, and Tina (Steve) Holley of Norris, nine grandchildren, and ten great grandchildren.
Lillian previously worked for the Norris School and later at McCall School in Canton, but mostly she was a dedicated and loving stay at home mother. She dearly loved all her family and all the time she spent with them. She loved to travel especially to Australia. She was never shy to offer a helping hand, she enjoyed teaching others how to make sugar eggs and was affectionately known as the "Easter Egg Lady". Lillian also had a love for hot air balloon rides.
Cremation rites will be accorded. A celebration of life will be held at Franzoni Park at a later date.
Memorials may be made to Franzoni Park in Norris or to the East Elm Street Apartments.
