Ralph A. Negley
Lewistown- Ralph A. Negley, 64, of Lewistown passed away at 3:47 AM Friday May 6, 2016 at Graham Hospital emergency room in Canton.
He was born December 12, 1951 at Canton the son of Clifton and Irene (Tourtillott) Negley. He married Sue Blair on November 30, 1974 at Peoria. She survives. Also surviving are two sons, Rick Negley of Lewistown and Sander Egging of Australia, two daughters, Jessica Negley of Lewistown and Sasha Negley of Banner, five grandchildren, Zoey Negley, Ralph A. Negley II, Annabella Spirowski, Issabella Spencer, and Melany Spirowski, two brothers, Ronald Negley of Farmington, and Randy (Kathy) Negley of Canton, two sisters, Sonita Negley of Macomb, and Rae Gina Negley of Pittsburg, PA. Ralph was a beloved uncle by many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Ralph worked at Caterpillar for 40 years where he was a Drafting Engineer. He served in the US Army 101st airborne in Vietnam where he was a helicopter engineer. Ralph was a member of the Lewistown VFW Post 5001 and the Moose Lodge in Farmington. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, traveling, and spending time with his grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM Tuesday at the Henry-Lange Memorial Home in Lewistown with Pastor Randy Munson officiating. A military service will be conducted following the service by the Lewistown VFW Post 5001 and the Lewistown American Legion Bishop Post 1. Visitation will be held Monday from 5-7 PM at the memorial home. Cremation will be accorded following services.
